During our period of virus isolation this blog page can be our discussion space
when we are not meeting together virtually on Zoom.
One thing that has been behind some of our recent discussion about identity has been going to the Bible as the source for our thoughts. Instead of just reflecting on our own experiences we have been asking what the biblical passage that we have selected for that day has to say about who we are.
This is a great idea but when we just take one passage out of the Bible and ask what it shows us we don't get to see that teaching in its bigger context and sometimes that makes it so that we don't really get the message clearly.
So for the next little while we will soak ourselves in How to Read the Bible. We will use the Bible Project's series with just that name.
